Fiction book editor for fantasy, sci-fi, and romance authors.
I help overwhelmed writers strengthen their narratives, while listening and truly caring about each author, preserving their unique voice so their stories captivate readers from beginning to end.
This isn’t your average book editor journey.
weren’t consistent with my family values, and that the path wasn’t always so linear in these career fields. I didn’t want to teach, so I graduated and started a nine-to-five. But I didn’t enjoy it. The hours grew longer, forcing a change to my family life. I decided to become a stay-at-home, homeschool mom.
And then I found fiction book editing as a solopreneur…and I fell in love. I was ecstatic to learn that I could work in the field I’d always dreamed of. And I could still homeschool my daughter, who was thriving. My husband encouraged me to take a copyediting and proofreading course, and I finally did, starting my book editing journey.
Over the last five years, I’ve helped dozens of writers feel at ease and ready to publish their stories. I feel honored to have the privilege of working with authors on their journeys. I’m always learning and improving my skills so I can continue to help authors every day.
